What is the role of the Governing Body?

Governors have an important part to play in raising school standards.听 Governing bodies accountable for the use of public funds, the quality of education provided and the wider contribution to the community

听

A school governors duties include:听

路听听听听听听听听 setting the strategic direction, policies and objectives

路听听听听听听听听 approving the budget

路听听听听听听听听 reviewing progress against the budget and objectives

路听听听听听听听听 challenging and supporting senior staff

路听听听听听听听听 playing a part in appointing staff

路听听听听听听听听 Provide Head teacher with support and advice
